Letitia James Pleads Not Guilty to Mortgage Fraud — But the Walls Are Closing In
By John DiMauro | 247TrumpNews.com | October 25, 2025
New York Attorney General Letitia James was arraigned yesterday and pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of mortgage fraud. The charges stem from allegations that she falsely claimed a property as her owner-occupied residence — a serious offense that strikes at the core of financial honesty. Mortgage fraud isn’t complicated. You either live in the property you claim as your primary home or you don’t. There’s no gray area, and Letitia James, a seasoned attorney, knows that better than anyone.
If these allegations hold up, the evidence will likely come straight from her own paperwork — mortgage applications, notarized affidavits, and tax returns. Reports indicate that her statements about residency may directly conflict with her tax filings, potentially opening the door to even more severe charges, including tax evasion. It’s ironic that the same woman who spent years pursuing President Trump on shaky civil grounds could now find herself entangled in a straightforward criminal case.
Meanwhile, the mainstream media, ever eager to protect one of their own, is framing the indictment as “politically motivated.” But anyone familiar with mortgage law knows that this isn’t political — it’s mathematical. The numbers don’t lie, and the documents speak for themselves. James built her brand on the idea that “no one is above the law.” Now that principle may come home to roost
.
Which raises a question many Americans are asking: Why isn’t Adam Schiff facing the same scrutiny? Schiff, now a senator after years of misleading the American people and Congress, has faced his own accusations of mortgage irregularities and repeated dishonesty under oath. How a man censured by Congress for lying ends up with a promotion to the U.S. Senate is a mystery only California voters can answer. At some point, accountability has to mean something.
If Letitia James is convicted, she will almost certainly lose her license to practice law — and rightfully so. The Attorney General of New York, sworn to uphold justice, would be disbarred for violating the very laws she weaponized against Donald Trump. Some might call that poetic justice. It would also send a strong message that political power doesn’t make one immune from legal consequences.
For now, we wait for the facts to unfold. But it looks bad. Very bad. The hypocrisy, the arrogance, and the double standards are on full display. Letitia James is in deep trouble, and she knows it. As for Adam Schiff — you’re on deck.
